Sharing about Carol by Hugh Jeffrey

I believe Jesus would say:
Behold Carol, a woman in which there is no guile.
Behold Carol, my good and faithful servant.
Enter into my presence.

I identified two natures in Carol:
1. She was a woman who was a very mature Christian woman.
2. A part of her nature was almost child like. This is not a put down but rather reference to innocence, naiveness and purity. I especially loved this side of her nature.

Carol was a great encouragement to me as well as to others. She never criticized, but always offered words of encouragement. I felt like she would have done anything for me and I wish I had done more for her.

Carol ‘s Christian walk was beautiful to me. She loved to spend time in God’s word, prayer, and serving him. Whatever time God gives me, I will try be more like her.

Carol was a very thrifty person and believed strongly in recycling. She would never buy anything new for herself. At garage sales she would look in the free box first, then try to find something for a quarter. Our house is full of her treasures and I want to keep them for a while in order to keep the memory of Carol fresh in my mind.

Because He lives I know that Carol lives and this is a joy to my soul. I believe I will be able to say hello to her soon.

Hey Grandpa,

I really like what you wrote about Grandma! It's a perfect description of who she is.
Love you,
